Understanding, connecting, changing.

There is a hunger to collaborate and share experiences and knowledge.

I see this as a collective journey that is empowering, hopefully for all of us.

University of Amsterdam

Nik Linders is a published scholar trained in political science, political theory, and gender and diversity studies in the Netherlands. He received his BA in political science and MA (cum laude) in political theory from Radboud University Nijmegen. His main academic interests are critical theory, radicalization, populism, conspiracy theories, and inequality, which were a perfect match for the PhD project he started in 2020 and finished early 2025. As of April 2025, Nik is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam. His projects focus on political masculinity and gender norms in European politics, and interventions to promote gender equality. He loves teaching as much as doing research and is always eager to learn from colleagues and students with different perspectives. Following his academic interests, Nik is deeply committed to epistemic justice, which entails an embeddedness in communities that work towards equality for all and habitually and unapologetically speaking out against fascism, racism, genocide, and misogyny.
