Jutta Lindert, Ph.D. in Health Sciences is full professor of Public Health at the University of Applied Sciences Emden /Leer. Her main research interests are Public Mental Health (traumatic life events and mental health, life-course epidemiology, violence and mental health) and social and physical environmental exposures and neuropsychiatric conditions. Additionally, she is president of the Section on “Public Mental Health” of the “European Association of Mental Health”, and chair of the Public Mental Health working group of the World Association of Public Health. Currently, she is involved in several multicentre epidemiological research projects investigating determinants of mental health and resilience. Dr. Lindert is the author of more than 150 publications in the area of Public Mental Health.
